Insolvency, bankruptcy proceedings, compulsory settlements and liquidations
Our comprehensive legal support is also intended for those business entities which face insolvency or are already insolvent – we offer a helping hand with activities aimed at preventing the occurrence of insolvency or eliminating it (procedures pursuant to the Financial Operations, Insolvency Proceedings and Compulsory Dissolution Act, voluntary settlements with creditors, debt-for-equity swaps etc.) and provide legal support to debtors during insolvency proceedings. As a rule, we co-operate with our external partners specialised in business finance and with auditors you choose or we select at our discretion.
We provide support to the creditors of insolvent debtors in the process of registering claims or the negation of other creditors’ claims and offer legal counselling about creditors’ rights and legal interests in bankruptcy or compulsory settlement proceedings. Our range of services designed for creditors also includes challenging the legal acts of an insolvent debtor and, in relation to such claims, representation in litigation where the existence of claims is established.
